Hide and Seek

Hello and happy Friday to you! I hope you've had a good week. I'm excited to share this outfit with you, featuring my new bomber jacket which was first shown on the blog in my Ultimate Vegas Outfit Challenge. I wore my V & A print top from last year, which has served me well this summer, with indigo jeans, and donned the silky bomber jacket for some added edge. I thought this would be perfect for creating a casual but fashion-forward street style look. It's a look which is all about attitude and confidence. To soften the look, I added my silver fairy necklace from Covent Garden Market which is being shown for the first time on the blog. The fairy figure is very striking and beautifully made, with lovely detailed wings (see below), and I fell in love with it straight away. I finished the look with silver ballet pumps with a subtle snakeskin print. I like the way the ballet pumps are ladylike, but the snakeskin finish gives them a tougher edge.

Do you like my outfit? Which looks are you sporting this summer? Please let me know in the comments below, as I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks for dropping by, and enjoy the weekend! xx

  3. Oh Saba! I have one very similar to this, I got it from Urban Outfitters a little while ago. It's almost identical!!!! I haven't worn mine yet though as it's thicker and needs to be cooler first, but I am SO excited to wear it! You look great in yours, I'm glad you're embracing the bomber jacket trend too! I think the ballet pumps were a great addition as it plays off the florals!

  5. Dear Saba,
I like your bomber and I think is a good garment for summer, for going out by night if you live in a place with hot (not so much) temperatures and by day if you live in a "cold" country....and with this design is very trendy!!!I tryed on some bombers but on me don't fit so well so I prefer leather or denim jackets....
Regarding summer outfits I love dresses, girly dresses or vintage, and denim shorts paired with a body...about shoes I'm in love with platforms....in general I wear colorful outfits in spring/summer and darker or classic outfits in autumn/winter 'cause in these last seasons I hibernate jejeje!!!!

    1. Thank you so much for your sweet comment Sophia! I'm so glad you like my bomber jacket. I agree, it's ideal for unpredictable summer weather, when I'm still too cautious to go out without a jacket! You look fab in girly dresses and vintage items, so I can see why you like those styles! I adore your signature platform heels, they suit you very well. Hibernating is definitely an appealing option once the colder weather hits!

    1. Wow that's a really lovely comment! Thank you so much Jalisa! I'm really happy you like the bomber jacket. As for my hair, it's very unmanageable in its natural state and makes me look like a poodle! So I have to torture it straight, which requires lots of arm strength! But at least it's a good workout for me, haha!

I hope you're having a lovely week so far Jalisa! Thank you for your encouragement! xx
