It's getting to the stage of winter where I'm still trying to get enough mileage out of my favourite items, and combine them with different colours and styles to give them a fresher feel. In an earlier post when I'd just gotten this jumper, I styled it with a black blazer and trousers, leading to quite a different look which I still like (Left My Heart in Tokyo).
I hope you like my outfit. Do you have any creative ways to give your winter favourites a new lease of life? Please let me know in the comments below!

Thank you Vanessa!
DeleteSaba, I think wearing some great colors for the winter can really brighten an outfit and lift your mood. I too have a couple of coats but I always reach for the one that is comfy... yours is really cute. I hope the weather is not too cold there, we've been lucky so far... I'm sure the snow and cold will be here before I know it ... have a great week xox ♡♡
ReplyDeleteHi Launna! I agree, colour can definitely change our outlook and create a positive mood! I'm so happy you like my coat. I know what you mean, when it comes to feeling comfortable, a familiar coat is always best!
DeleteIt's been quite cold here lately, but at least London seems to escape the worst of it, compared to other areas. I hope it's not too cold in your city, and you manage to stay cosy inside! xx
Thank you so much for dropping by my blog Saba, you leave such kind and thoughtful comments xox
DeleteI hope you are doing well and that the weather is not too cold there, we have been going back and forth with our weather. It's easier to deal with because I'm working from home, I am very grateful xox
Launna!!! It's always a pleasure to visit your blog and read your thoughtful posts. I've been well, thanks so much for asking. I'm glad to hear that working from home has allowed you to escape the unpredictable weather! xx
DeleteSuch a cute ensemble on you, Saba! And the photo of the pine cones and leaves look perfectly arranged. Beautiful photos of nature!
ReplyDeleteI tend to wear my winter favourites with a change of accessories (mainly scarves, gloves and shoes) to give it a new lease of life :-D
Do we get to see your birthday outfit too? Happy Birthday!!!!
Xx
Thank you so much lady! You're always so thoughtful. I'm glad you noticed about the placement of the pine cones and leaves! That arrangement was definitely deliberate!
DeleteScarves, gloves and shoes makes a big different to a winter ensemble, and you wear these items with flair.
There should be a birthday outfit showing here a little later this month! Thanks for asking! xx
No way! I was certain it was natures effort!
DeleteLooking forward to your birthday post. :)

DeleteThis is such a lovely outfit! I can see why you like the geisha doll jumper so much, it is absolutely beautiful and so cute. :) It goes so well with the leopard print and the ballet pumps. :) I tend to stick to the same sort of colours all year round, perhaps I should be more adventurous with fashion, but I'm always worried that I won't be able to pull certain things off! I have my trusted winter black coat and that's about it, really! You combine the colours so well, it's inspiring. :) Thanks for sharing, my lovely! xoxo

Wow thank you Kay for the lovely comment! I truly appreciate your encouragement. You'd look fabulous in any colour and could definitely pull it off! I tend to be more conservative in my make-up choices, always sticking to the same natural look, so it's always lovely to read your beauty reviews. I'm so glad I could inspire you, just as you've inspired me with the endless possibilities of make-up! xx

Hi Silvia! Thank you so much for dropping by and for your sweet comment. I'm really glad you like this look. I hope you're having a lovely weekend! xx
DeleteHow cute is this outfit!!!I love the jumper...looks so cute and lovely...It's interesting how you mixed this Japanese print with a leopard coat...sounds like a mix between cultures, in a soft way and the geisha doll is really nice!!
ReplyDeleteHonestly I don't like winter as season and for the outfits,'cause you've to wear warm clothes, sometimes not so fashionable...even if most of times I go out with light nice clothes and the day after I'm sick =(
The only thing I like of winter clothes are faux-fur coats, especially leopard coats and high boots...regarding homewear I've a lot of jumpers and sweaters, the majority of them in pink or fucsia eheheh
Wish you a nice weekend!!!

Hi Sophia! I was thrilled to hear from you and see your comment. I'm so glad you're well. Thank you so much for your lovely and thoughtful comment. I agree, it's hard to find motivation sometimes when getting dressed during those dull winter mornings. But I'm so glad you like this outfit, and the fact it's a sort of synthesis between different cultures, as you pointed out! I hope you're having a fab weekend too, and making the most of your new surroundings! xx
DeleteHi Saba, how are you? Your leopard coat is everything, love it pared with this jumper!

DeleteHi Saba, I just wanted to check with you and see how you are doing? I hope the winter weather is ending soon where you are... We had a rough early February here in Nova Scotia but this last week has been extremely warm... we are all hoping spring is on it's way. Have a great week xox
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for asking how I am Launna, and for leaving a comment here and on my latest blog post which explained my absence. I'm glad to hear the weather is improving in Nova Scotia. (Whenever I hear it mentioned, this location always makes me think of Anne of Green Gables. :))
DeleteThings are getting slightly warmer here too with more daylight, thank goodness, and that's been a welcome relief from the long winter. xx
You haven't posted for a while so I hope all is well and you are having a really good start to the year :)
